As the filming of our film neared, some changes had to occur through the script due to changes in location. We had to change our location to our actor's home because one of our team, Maeve, wasn't available for the day of shooting due to other priorities, and because we were relying on her home for our location, we had to make a last minute change. This location change actually worked out for the better and enabled us to use a driveway and car instead of stairs, which helped us transition from the title to the actual film much easier and better than originally planned. Due to the location change, we also couldn't use Maeve's mum as an actress for the mother role, so we had to change the family member character to a sister, whom I played, meaning we had to change a bit of the context of the script, however no major changes occurred. The story line stayed the same, just bits of dialogue were switched to fit the sister character more, while still giving the same effect of a homophobic vibe running through the family.
This is our new and updated script we made just before filming. We also decided the change the name of Morgan (Will's love interest) to Taylor because we feel that the name is more of a mysterious, unisex name which would make the viewer initially think that this was a typical love story instead of a gay love story - adding a bit of mystery to the film, and also showing how love is the same no matter what gender.
